The first real day of winter has arrived. The wind is at its howling
best. The rain has turned to ice and snow. Twelve degrees by the
morning--with colder wind chills. How did we survive all those years
before someone discovered that the wind makes it colder. What a genius!
I am making preparation for being waterless in the morning. One of
the joys of wilderness living. smile emoticon
I can "endure" it. The feeders are full. A nice cold trek has taken
up the early afternoon after church. I will have to get an early start
to school tomorrow--the side roads were already treacherous on the slip
and slide home this morning

Today at Iten's Acres: The End of the World? January 2, 2016
The End of the World?
I am fairly certain that just for a moment I saw this bright shiny thing in the sky?
And--the birds are eating the cat food I put out for my calico strays.
