The second week of May. The hummingbirds are back. And the cat birds. And the iris are shrugging off the frost and starting to bloom away.

This Week at Iten's Acres: May Flowers Arrive May 7, 2016
May flowers have begun. The snowbirds have left for the farther north. The rose-breasted grosbeak are here. The kingfisher is scoping out the pond for goldfish dinner. Gorgeous bird--don't know what he did with the money they gave him for voice lessons. Iris are budding. There are going to be more than I imagined. The potbunker strategy appears to be a success. Anyway, here's the first week of May flowers at Iten's Acres.
