The middle of April is daffodil time to the max. I have over a thousand blooms all over The Acres. And there are more to come. The hyacinths are up and about as well, but not nearly as many. Here's what's gracing The Acres as spring rolls into high gear.
Primrose
Anemone
Magnolia
creeping phlox
Creeping myrtle
Jacob's Ladder
Lenten Rose
Dutchman's Breeches

Spring Begins April 2019
Spring came late to The Acres this year. There was a vortex late in the winter and set things back a couple weeks. By now, those things are catching up. The crocus have come and gone for the most part. Hyacinth, grape hyacinth, and especially daffodils are in full exhibition mode. A few tulips and other things have entered the picture. The goldfish are out and about as well. Here's first peak at The Acres flower show for this year.
