Bed 6 is right next to Bed 5, but it doesn't do nearly as well. All the iris in here are white. Artemsia adds to the color scheme. The sedum in September is brilliant and huge. No much happens in-between although the lilies outside the bed do well.

Bed 5
The biggest bed on The Acres. Parts of it are due for a make-over, but that will have to wait until the future. All kinds of things bloom in here. Four in particular are spreading like crazy and may--will--need to be moved elsewhere: yellow coneflower, Kankakee mallow, hair allium, and bee balm. I'll have to do some research to find out where to put the mallow. The other stuff can grow anywhere--and spread. Tons of iris in here. The only bed that has foxglove, Jacob's ladder, meadowsweet, and gentian. It's a full bed!
