Bed E

Bed E, also in the Pine Tree Area--is a double pot bunker.  This fall, I re-did the entire bed so what blooms next year should be interesting.  This year it had some of the ubiquitous purple hyacinth, a hyacinth, some daffodils and tulips.  Four iris bloomed in May.  Lilies in June.  Phlox in August.  Three of the iris in here are re-bloomers, but they were so overgrown, I had to do a make-over.  The hope is that maybe next year even if they don't bloom in May, they'll re-bloom in September.  Hey, an old man can hope.
